Four-punch forging devices are designed for four-sided radial forging on hydraulic forging presses with a force of up to 125 MN. They are mounted on hydraulic forging presses like conventional forging strikers. It is possible to install a forging device without attachment to a movable traverse — opening the device with springs. They are used for forging ingots and blanks from all plastically deformable grades of steels, alloys and non-ferrous metals.
Forging manipulators are designed to work with hydraulic forging presses and steam-air forging hammers as a means of mechanization of technological and transport operations of the forging process. Floor-mounted forged rail manipulators are manufactured with a load capacity from 12.5 to 300 kN. Manipulators are special lifting and transport machines designed to perform transport and technological operations related to giving the necessary shapes and sizes to workpieces.
